Metal and Video games have an inseparable history of both crossover and more subtle influence. What do you think are some of the most "metal" video games of all time?

When I listen to metal its usually traditional/nwobhm 70s-80 stuff so for me i listen to bands like angel witch, manowar, Iron maiden, Dio and the scorpions when im working out or playing games like overwatch. Otherwise im listening to classic/hard rock like guns and roses, rush, deep purple and led zeppelin.

When Dirk says he played pirate games growing up, and you put a picture of Sid Meier's Pirates… that's not the pirate games he's talking about

Interesting topic, never thought of the link between these two, but as a metalhead that enjoys gaming it makes sense.

I started listening to rock and metal because of my father and I started to play video games because of my brother, I was blessed in life with the ultimate combo!
